| I have to admit, yesterday evening was so surreal and yet truly amazing. Despite where you stand, left or right, conservative or liberal, it is a victory for anyone who faces discrimination. It is a step forward to show the American Dream still exists and isn't some tainted ideal plastered by Hallmark or some lofty goal we speak of yet never see. Even for me, I've spoke this entire time of the racism and the realistic realms of our nation, and yet I am astounded that they proved me wrong. Despite the studies, the statistics, and what history has proved, Change has come.
Maybe America isn't as tainted as I thought. The fact that through the hate and discrimination we can persevere, and individuals can rise above the scum and make it to the cream of the crop.
Today, Obama was being compared to Lincoln, what a crazy thought. Can you imagine the weight on his shoulders? To hold the hope and views of virtually so many people.
Those who my not have voted for Obama, you still have to admit, its one huge step.
My thoughts aren't coherent.
